By far the very, very best part (from many choices) about having run The Thoughtful Travel Podcast for the past four and a bit years: the wonderful listeners I’ve got to know. I still find it utterly surprising that people from all over the world (I reveal the exact number of countries in this episode!) listen to me and my guests, and over the years I’ve had the chance to get to know many of my listeners and it’s been a pure pleasure.
Since this is a very special milestone, I wanted it to be a very special episode. Again, thanks to all the listeners who volunteered their time (and nerves) to chat with me. I know you enjoyed our chats but let me tell you, I enjoyed them even more!

Listener Interviews
It’s a big milestone today: this is the 200th episode of The Thoughtful Travel Podcast! And since this podcast would literally be nothing at all without all my wonderful listeners, I’ve decided to devote both this week and next week to you all by interviewing some brave listeners who volunteered to record chats with me – from all corners of the globe – Melbourne to Norway, British Colombia to England, and more.
A huge thank you to Lily, Anuj, Ena, Jane, Richie and Genevieve who all gave their time and stories so freely – it was such a pleasure to chat with each of you. In this week’s episode, my listener guests introduce themselves and also talk about some of their favourite stories and episodes from The Thoughtful Travel Podcast.
